Stillwater Fastpitch was established in 1984 to promote the development of a quality, competitive level of girls fastpitch softball in the St. Croix Valley Area. This program is committed to the development of potential Stillwater Area High School Softball players.

NEW THIS YEAR: Fall Tryouts for the 2027 Season.
***We will NOT be having any tryouts in the winter/spring for our travel programs. All teams will be formed fall 2026 for the Summer 2027 season***
12u and 14u:
- DATE: Saturday, August 29th
- LOCATION: SAHS Softball fields
- TIME: 10am-3pm
- Specific age group times along with pitching/catching tryout times will be announced the week prior
8u and 10u: (8u inhouse does NOT tryout in the fall)
- DATE: Sunday, August 30th
- LOCATION: SAHS Softball fields
- TIME: 10am-3pm
- Specific age group times along with pitching/catching tryout times will be announced the week prior
Teams will be formed after the completion of evaluations. If you are interested in coaching, please fill out our coaching application and enter your level of interest on the registration questionnaire. 10U-14U teams will train together beginning in November. 8u travel team will begin training January 2027

SAFA is part of the Tri-County league through MN softball. Each team will play 1-2 games a week once the season begins in addition to practicing 2-3 times a week once the season begins. Registration also includes winter training and development.

Register8u In-House Season
SAFA is excited to offer an in-house option for 8u this year! This program partners with the Southeast Metro League and plays games in our surrounding communities. This option has less travel and time commitment and is a great introduction to fastpitch!
